According to the programme of Action B.15 of the NEREiDE LIFE project, this report describes the second psychoacoustical monitoring campaign and social survey carried out in the Municipality of Massarosa (LU)after laying the new road pavement with high acoustical absorption property. The activities have been started on October 2018 and ended on March 2019 andcan be splitted into four phases: the psychoacoustical monitoring campaign, the analysis of the sound recordings, the social survey and the analysis of the citizen responses. The psychoacoustical monitoring campaign consists of binaural recordings of the traffic noise along the road SS 439, in the same six measurement points set in the "ante-operam" campaign carried out according to action A.2. Afterwards, the sound recordingshave been analyzed in order to determine the psychoacoustical indicators described in action B.3 and used in action B6.All the indicators together made up the so called "psychoacoustic fingerprint". By this way, each site has been identified with a proper "ante-operam" psychoacoustic fingerprint that will be compared to the "post-operam" psychoacoustic fingerprint in order to evaluate the changes (action B.16 The social survey, handled by SOCIP s.r.l. and directed by the CNR-IDASC, was focused to assess for the selected population sample living along the SS 439, the inhabitants' attitude towards noise and the degree of annoyance perceived. TheSOCIP s.r.l. has the task to deliver and to collect the questionnaire to the persons of the first social survey, while CNR-IDASC has analyzed the responses of the citizen using different statistical analysis methods. The delivering adopted method allows to get around the 35% of the returned compiled questionnaires against the 40% of the first social survey, in any case more than a traditional response rate of 30%. In the same way of the psychoacoustic fingerprint, the results of the "ante-operam" survey will be compared to the results of the "post-operam" survey.
