In the quarters covered with the report,very intensive activities werecarried out toextensively test theSafety Instrumented Functions(SIF)of the SPIDER Central Safety System(CSS). This activity has takena very long time due to the high number of tests required, slow and accurate test proceduresand the fact that most tests were possible only outside the SPIDER experimental campaigns, not to interfere with SPIDER scientific exploitation.In parallel to the SIF tests, various additional activities were carried out to integrate sensors and actuators that have become available during the quarters, such as the cavity ring-down spectroscopy laser, additional N2 valve, Laser LAS, MV power power distribution board. The EMC tests on SPIDER CSS were also carried out.
