This code, written for GRASS GIS (7.2 version), has been developed during the EcoNAOS research project (led by CNR-ISMAR Venice - Italy) which has the aim to practically apply Open Science principles to a long term ecological dataset valorization project. The dataset collects 50 years of oceanographic data (abiotic, phyto- and zooplantkon) coming from several cruises. The dataset has been published on Zenodo (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3516717) and a data paper on Earth System Science Data supplies a wide metadatation for the dataset (https://doi.org/10.5194/essd-2019-111). This code has already been published on GitHub (https://github.com/CNR-ISMAR/econaos/tree/master) and the main folder is divided in two subfolders: one for sample data (for code testing purpose) and the other one with the code, the pseudocode and some output maps of the dataset. Both the subfolders have readme and license files.
