This document describes the activities carried out for task 7.3: Plan for onsite calibration, testing and commissioning of the installed magnetic diagnostics of Contract F4E-OPE-0883 "Development and Supply of Software Algorithms for ITER Magnetics Diagnostic". The activities regard the basic requirements of identification and polarity check of installed sensors, for which a robust solution is presented, valid for the majority of sensors. Some specific sets of sensors have peculiarities that need customs solutions, some of them are discussed. The calibration task was also investigated: several issues are presented and discussed, with the aim of identifying the best approach to be followed in the next phase of the work.
