EUROFLEETS+ Deliverable D8.4 reports the results of a study conducted on the utilization and spare time of RVs, along with the volume and the effectiveness of on-going TA initiatives provided beyond the Eurofleets+ project. The information collected allowed for the analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the initiatives and to propose TA pilot groups at both regional level and for thematic areas, with the goal of supporting the European Research Area (ERA) key priorities and "scientific super ideas/excellence science". This study was developed in collaboration with the European Research Vessel Operators (ERVO) Group, of which the majority of Eurofleets+ vessel operators are long time members.
