The video presents the activities of the Built Heritage Innovation Laboratory of the Institute of Heritage Science of the National Research Council of Italy (ISPC-CNR) on the energy and environmental improvement of built heritage. From geometric surveys (performed with advanced techniques like Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping and Photogrammetry), to energy and environmental field analyses (infra-red thermographies, environmental monitoring, heat flux meter analyses) to the energy modelling also with VPL techniques, up to the calibrated simulation of both outdoor spaces and buildings to define energy and environmental improvement interventions. Despite the complexities related to its sustainable conservation, built heritage is a key driver in the strive towards sustainable development goals. The challenge, in line with the Cultural Heritage European Green Paper, is to adapt and improve innovative technologies to deal with the heterogeneity and complexity of historical buildings to strengthen decision support.

Abstract
The challenge, in line with the Cultural Heritage European Green Paper, is to adapt and improve innovative technologies to deal with the heterogeneity and complexity of historical buildings to strengthen decision support.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
