During the stay of Dr. Adalgisa Scotti at IGAG Montelibretti, Roma, from September 17th to October 17th the following activities have been performed jointly, according to the scientific program of the Project: 1- Meeting with the Italian research group in Rome. 2- Visit to IGAG Cagliari with presentation of the Seminar with the progress of the project. 3- Transfer of the project to other sectors, (e.g.agriculture with Fontagro, sampling in volcanic areas and Regione FVG), for this purpose soils from Ecuador with high cadmium values were incorporated and a project was prepared for the region. 4- Design of hyperaccumulative biomass for Cadmium, Strontium among others, in MDV. 5- Links with the Fontagro project and the CSIC of Granada, contact with Dr. Inmaculada García Romera for her assistance on fungi, mycorrhizas and saprobes. 6- Determination of Eh-pH in bioreactors at IGAG Cagliari, experimental determination Design of bioreactors for Ks testing and mycorrhization in bioreactors. 7- Data analysis and presentation of conclusions within the framework of the experimentation with the higher school on "La notte dei ricercatori". 8- Institutional visit to the OGS - Participation in the Convention "Geological and Geomatic Cartography in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region". 9- Visit to the private sector and the government sector of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region.
