BFIS - Updated BFIS Service deployment - Deliverable D.4

The scope of this document is to present the Bangladesh Forest Information System (BFIS) final service instance (or BFIS final instance in short), a realization of a web based service implementing the BFIS API service interface including the corrections to the problems that have been reported during the test phase (after the BFIS service deployment, object of D.3) and made available as a virtual machine ready to be deployed on a production service to be used by the BFIS portal (or any other BFIS client implementing the BFIS API). The present document describes: BFIS system updates. The first section covers the software problems and requests for enhancement reported during the BFIS service test phase that have been investigated and solved. In some cases the bugfixes regarded internal components of the BFIS services, in other cases changes to the BFIS API were needed: these have been implemented and documented in this section as a reference completing the BFIS service API deliverable D2. Administrator deployment guide. It provides an administrator guide on how to replicate the service final instance on the desired server, by importing the virtual machine snapshot attached to this document. Testing the deployment. Finally, a description of preliminary tests useful to assess a successful BFIS deployment is provided. For a more complete user guide of the BFIS system it is suggested to refer to deliverable D5.
