The document is the Deliverable no. 03 of the CryoRad-FO project entitled " Rapporto Finale del Progetto" as required by the Technical Management Annex of the Contract between ASI and the National Council of Research - Institute of Applied Physics "Nello Carrara", revised and updated with the new time plan proposed by IFAC-CNR and accepted by ASI. The purpose of this document is to illustrate in detail, together with the scientific background, the reasons for the CryoRad-FO project and the related mission concept, the overall results of the project. The document is structured as follows: Section 3 introduces the general context in which the CryoRad mission is proposed and the contribution expected by CryoRad-FO project. Section 4 details the scientific motivations behind the project and its scientific and technical background. Section 5 reports on mission objectives and observational requirements which were revised during the first year of activities. Section 6 describes the design of the CryoRad-like prototype which is designed in the project during the first year while section 7 deals with the realization of the prototype. Section 8 contains the advancements were conducted to retrieval algorithms development. Section 9 indicates the scientific readiness and technology readiness level of the mission and how the CryoRad-FO project will contribute to enrich them. Section 10 summarizes the results achieved and the prospects open for the next future.
