The site was created in 2019 to replace an existing website www.ino.it/home/Pisa/. The site is hosted in the ILIL laboratory of the INO of Pisa and published online on 16 April 2020. The National Institute of Optics website Research Unit "Adriano Gozzini", Pisa is based on Word Press and some free plugins to customize and improve the site itself. The Pisa research unit of the CNR-INO was created in 2010 with the foundation of the new INO institute. The unit is named after the late Prof. Adriano Gozzini, founder of the first CNR Laboratory in Italy dedicated to Atomic and Molecular Physics (LAFAM). The website "Pisa Research Unit" of the National Institute of Optics (INO) of the National Research Council (CNR) provides information on research activities and shows experiences and solutions for the future.
