This report describes the IEIIT contributions to the SafeCobot Project. This project refers to the development of data/signal processing methods and fusion algorithms that exploit the EnviSense family of products from Cognimade Srl to provide a Proof-of-Concept (PoC) platform for operator safety in a shared industrial workplace. These new algorithms include new data/signal processing methods using data/signals from MIMO FMCW (Multiple Input Multiple Output, Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) devices, Ultrasonic, and InfraRed (IR) boards based on thermopile arrays Grid-Eye to provide safety capabilities for an operator working with a collaborative robot (cobot) in a shared industrial workplace.

Abstract
