Service S3: IP Evaluation or Due Diligence Tool

This in-depth evaluation includes technological, legal and market dimensions. It is used to assess the quantity and the quality of intellectual property assets owned by (or to be acquired by) a beneficiary and an estimation of the importance and value of these IP assets based on their capacity to generate future revenues. The audit comprises oan assessment of the quality of the technology in terms of degree of inventiveness oan evaluation of the strength and scope of the claims and oan estimation of value of future product markets and the share that could be captured from them. This evaluation tool has been designed for use on a single research project e.g. H2020, or on several closely linked research projects e.g. the results of several national grants that have been used to build expertise and results in a particular research area for a team.
