The aim of EFFICIENTSHIP project is to evaluate the performance of Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) system on a fishing vessel. The acquisition of physical parameters of the engine system it is a key element to reach this task and a data logger was developed to simultaneously collect information from several devices. The system is composed by a Raspberry unit that is connected to the devices equipped onboard (i.e. GPS, torsiometer, fuel consumption measurements device) by several types of connection and communication protocols (RS232, Modbus via TCP or RTU). The EMS is the software that allows the management of all data acquired by the central units. The system was test and optimized in order to ensure a high reliability during data acquisition.

Abstract
The system was test and optimized in order to ensure a high reliability during data acquisition.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
