The aim of this deliverable is to present all the activities developed within Task 7.3. According to requirements defined in T1.2, batteries re-use and recycling solutions will be demonstrated in this task through the real implementation of processes for treating batteries and for re-using them in real industrial applications. Batteries of commercial models of EV and HEV will be used with this purpose and re-usable cells and modules will be reassembled as reference batteries. Also, the recycling process of discarded components of the batteries will be demonstrated by using recovered materials to new applications. The functionalities of the ICT Platform supporting the integration between stakeholders will be demonstrated through simulated interactions with realistic data. Finally, the sustainability of the business model in this re-use and recycling of batteries value chain will be demonstrated through the application of simulation models for the economic assessment of new services and business models developed in T2.4 under the hypotheses of the demonstrated processes and industrial scenarios. Companies of the Stakeholders Group that have declared their willingness to test project results will be directly involved in this task: re-use of cells in e-bikes or e-motorbikes, starting up a new business line of "low-demand" batteries for customers and for companies. Also, other companies (Colorobbia) will demonstrate the use of recovered compounds from battery recycling process to produce coatings.
