The document describes main technical requirements for the realization of the Power Take-Off system (PTO) of a model-scale tidal turbine and its sensors equipment, to be used for experimental research. The configuration of some examples of existing scale model turbines was studied, and then a layout of the ULYSSES turbine was proposed compared to those well-proven configurations.
Il documento descrive i principali requisiti tecnici per la realizzazione del sistema di Power Take-Off (PTO) di una turbina di marea in scala modello e delle sue apparecchiature di sensori, da utilizzare per la ricerca sperimentale. È stata studiata la configurazione di alcuni esempi esistenti di turbine in scala modello, e poi è stato proposto un layout della turbina ULYSSES rispetto a quelle configurazioni ben collaudate
