First report for the ESA project 'WPs 2250-2251: DOAS-BO: Towards a new FRM4DOAS-compliant site' in the frame of QE4EO activities. This document is the report of the activities performed in the frame of the two first WPs (1.1 and 1.2) of the "WPs-2250-2251: DOAS-BO: Towards a new FRM4DOAS-compliant site" project. The WPs 1.1 and 1.2 of the project are mainly centred on the review of the available literature on best practices for DOAS and MAX-DOAS stations and data processing and the assessment of the TROPOGAS performances, compliances and not with respect to requirements identified by the FRM4DOAS network.
