Abstract

By using on-farm composting plant able to reproduce optimized conditions as ensured by the COMPOSTER, production of the planned amount (about 3 m3) and chemical-physical characterization of the selected compost, and related innovative growth medium (ZEO-COMPOST, Mix #7), for a test and demonstration at SusMedHouse.-Assessing the biodegradability of the compost included in the innovative growth medium.-In order to check the chemical-physical fingerprint of both organic and inorganic components of the innovative growth medium, quality control of the produced innovative growth medium that will be performed on randomly collected samples by 13C 19Si 27Al MAS Solid State NMR analyses.
