This document describes the experiences in securing the RDAP service of ccTLD .it through the integration with the OpenID Connect protocol. Integration is achieved through Keycloak. The service architecture consists of an RDAP server, a web RDAP client, and a Keycloak server. Both RDAP server and client operate as Keycloak clients. The testbed is formed by .it public test environment. The document also presents the IETF draft about using OpenID Connect in RDAP and provides a comparison with .it approach.
