This document describes the experiences in securing the RDAP service of ccTLD .it through theintegration with the OpenID Connect protocol. Integration is achieved through Keycloak. The servicearchitecture consists of an RDAP server, a web RDAP client, and a Keycloak server. Both RDAP serverand client operate as Keycloak clients. The testbed is formed by .it public test environment. Thedocument also presents the IETF draft about using OpenID Connect in RDAP and provides acomparison with .it approach.
