In May 2020 an air leak in SPIDER Vacuum Vessel caused the interruption of SPIDER experimental campaigns. A consequent inspection allowed to identify the large leak in correspondence of one of the two hydraulic bushings located on the bottom part of the VV. This document describes the main characteristics of the bushings, some main aspects of their procurement, the findings during failure inspections and discussions about different hypotheses for failure causes.
