This Report summarizes the activities developed by Dr. Stefano Ubaldini during the stay at International Center for Earth Sciences (ICES) - Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica (CNEA), Bioenvironmental Laboratory, San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina, from November 19rd till November 28rd, 2023. The main activities have been performed jointly with the Argentine research group, according to the scientific research program of the Project, in the context of the VII Executive Program of the Scientific and Technological Cooperation Italy-Argentina, 2021-23, with particular reference to: 1 - Meeting with the honorary vice consul of Italy in San Rafael, Mr Riccardo Stradella Bianchi. 2 - Meeting with the Argentine research group in San Rafael. 3 - Presentation of a seminar with the progress of the project. 4 - Determination of extraction processes from the biomass of strategic metals with a high degree of purity (CRMs) with hydrometallurgical processes. 5 - Meeting with the consul of Italy in Mendoza, Dr Giuseppe D'Agosto. 6 - Participation to the "18º Encuentro del Centro Internacional de Ciencias de la Tierra" (E-ICES 18) from 21 to 24 November 2023, Centro de Congresos y Exposiciones Thesaurus, Malargüe, Mendoza, with presentation of paper and of a invited plenary lectur entitled "Approccio multidisciplinare integrato per l'individuazione ed il recupero di materie prime da rifiuti minerari, mediante telerilevamento", held during the Opening Ceremony of the conference, in the presence of the Attaché Italian Scientific, Professor Salvatore Barba. 7 - Meeting with Director, Dr.Martìn Gomez, and staff ICES CNEA and visit to the laboratories, Buenos Aires. 8 - Meeting with Dr Vanesa Silvani, Universidad de Buenos Aires, UBA ? Department of Biodiversity and Experimental Biology, Buenos Aires. 9 - Meeting with Attaché Italian Scientific, Professor Salvatore Barba, in Buenos Aires. 10 - Preparation of a technical Project report.
