Prototype development of a software infrastructure based on a "middleware" that allows the integration, interoperability, and remote control of functionalities and services offered by the home automation systems on the market today. The software architecture uses an XML grammar (DomoML) and the Web Services SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) architectural model.
