The report presents a high-fidelity model for plunge centerless grinding operation to be used as a basis for the optimization of process parameters. The model has been implemented in Matlab Simulink and Python. It has been also exploited for the interpretation of the results of the experimental campaign conducted in Monzesi spa in the framework of ICGM Tech Fast project, aiming at the development of an Intelligent Grinding Machine.

Abstract
