This study focuses on an analysis of heavy metals in two species of brown algae, Cystoseira compressa and Ericaria mediterranea, to understand whether the species under consideration can be considered good bioaccumulators considering the availability of the elements in their environment, in fact, seawater from all sampling points was also analyzed.
