The Deliverable 8.4 reports the results of the demonstration activities for the validation of the Software Development Kit (SDK) for Model Predictive Control (MPC) solution developed in Work Package 5. The SDK is tested on two of the five showcases of DAEDALUS: o Show-case 1: complex devices as CPS - Control of a redundant manipulator o Show-case 4: system level - Pilot plant for PCBs remanufacturing The results show the applicability of the SDK for different level of orchestration of cyber-physical systems and the integration of the MPC control in the framework of IEC 61499 for distributed automation.
