The Virtual Repository and Virtual Data Manager (hereinafter referred to as "Virtual Repository") are designed in SYMBIOPTIMA to address the data integration task of linking Production Units with the Energy Resource Management System (ERMS). Data from diverse data sources produced by heterogeneous Production Units is merged based on a consistent RDF model, which provides a unified view of data to the ERMS for further analytical tasks.
