In the field of marine propeller design, systematic series of virtual propellers have become an essential tool for designers. The CNR-INM institute has developed an automated procedure based on these systematic propeller series, which is discussed in this report. After the virtual construction of a propeller series, different design approaches can be used to analyze the performance of the geometric configurations adopted. This analysis is based on the applications for which the propellers are intended, and which in this report will be the Horizon class frigate and a sailing yacht studied by the Velettrica company.

Abstract
In the field of marine propeller design, systematic series of virtual propellers have become an essential tool for designers. The CNR-INM institute has developed an automated procedure based on these systematic propeller series, which is discussed in this report. After the virtual construction of a propeller series, different design approaches can be used to analyze the performance of the geometric configurations adopted. This analysis is based on the applications for which the propellers are intended, and which in this report will be the Horizon class frigate and a sailing yacht studied by the Velettrica company.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
