The patent relates to the discovery of extracellular vesicles capable of inhibiting the migration of tumor cells, in particular gliobastoma cells. This discovery is relevant to the development of a targeted therapeutic approach against tumor infiltration, invasiveness and metastasis, thereby improving patient prognosis. Surprisingly, such vesicles were isolated from human teratocarcinoma cells. Even more surprisingly, the anti-migratory effect is linked to the CRIPTO oncoprotein present on the surface of the vesicles.

Abstract
The patent relates to the discovery of extracellular vesicles capable of inhibiting the migration of tumor cells, in particular gliobastoma cells. This discovery is relevant to the development of a targeted therapeutic approach against tumor infiltration, invasiveness and metastasis, thereby improving patient prognosis. Surprisingly, such vesicles were isolated from human teratocarcinoma cells. Even more surprisingly, the anti-migratory effect is linked to the CRIPTO oncoprotein present on the surface of the vesicles.File in questo prodotto:
