Progetto GEOFIT - D.7.4 Installation and commissioning of the system in Ireland (Galway) - RE-61/24

The purpose of this report is to describe the works and design configuration of the GEOFIT Galway pilot. It includes general information about the pilot settings, the design process, budgeting, planning permission legal processes undertaken, tendering processes and final updates of the construction of the pilot up to December 2022, as the final construction of the pilot is still undergoing at the time of submission of this report. The report also explains the commissioning and future activities planned for 2023 and following years. and concludes with lessons learned extracted from the experience of the pilot activities during the course of this project from 2018 to 2022. This report is intended as a summary of the activities undertaken to bring the Galway pilot to its completion and presents extracts of the main documents generated and used during the pilot implementation and to some extent reproduces some of the key documents in the ANNEXES. The report does not includes all the documentation in a comprehensive way as it is very extensive. Henceforth, if access to this documentation is required this will be made available upon request by addressing University of Galway contact point.
