In task 4.1, the architecture of the sorption storage system has been designed and the favourite construction layout has been issued and reported on in Deliverable 4.1 accounting for compactness, high effectiveness, ease of maintenance, low maintenance effort and long lifetime. This interim deliverable 4.3 reports on the development of the Adsorber Heat Exchanger for the selected storage configuration in Deliverable 4.1. Chapter 2 gives a thorough introduction on the state of the art developments and the different design requirements of a highly effective and sustainable adsorber heat exchanger.
