This report presents the calibration of the simulation platform developed within WP5, using the results of the lab-scale testing of the STES unit (Task 6.2). The components of the simulation platform were re-assessed, and it was strategically chosen to focus on the STES sub-model which is the core of the STES system and a source of considerable uncertainties regarding its modelling. The obtained calibrated simulation platform can be used anytime for the further investigation of the SWS HEATING system if needed (e.g. in a continuation project).
