How to reshape the relationship among school, education, society and work? What competences are crucial for the personal and social fulfilment and social inclusion? What is the specific weight of competences and knowledge in the educational process? How could the relationship between teachers and students be reshaped? Facing these questions, the volume describes case studies, experiences and theoretical reflections engaging teachers, learners, scientists and other societal actors throughout the entire research and innovation process as co-producers and co-designers of educational scenarios. All the described case studies are inspired by the Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) framework, aiming to align the research process and its outcomes with the needs, values and expectations of the communities, enacting personal and societal dimensions of curriculum implementation.
