This deliverable includes a review of the State-of-the-art on space- and airborne imaging spectroscopy for aquatic ecosystems applications. In addition, for the Gulf of Oristano, spaceborne (EnMAP, Hyperion, DESIS, EMIT) and airborne (MIVIS) data were gathered (Task 2) and processed to investigate water characteristics of the study area (Task 3). In addition, EnMAP and DESIS data were acquired synchronous to the Gulf of Oristano field campaign carried out from 23 to 30 May 2024. Abstract
The reflectance spectra obtained after image processing were also analysed and, where possible, substrate coverage maps were presented..
