Bibliographic research and advice on the Stato Of The Art on surface treatments for the improvement of polymer-metal-joints, with specific focus on the Cu-PPS System. This manuscript is the deliverable of a counseling contract between Tetra Pak and ISSMC-CNR (purchase Order 700382294). The interest of Tetra Pak is focused on surface treatments that could improve the interfaaces between copper (Cu) substrates and poly(p-phenylenesulfide (PPS) formed by molding. Currently, adhesion and dielectric strength between Cu and PPS is not sufficient and needs improvements.
