The 2021 AMAP SLCF assessment report analyses the state of the art of observations and climate effect estimates for short-lived climate forcers (SLCF). The assessment report is based on an international panel of experts engaged by the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme (AMAP, www.amap.no). Chapter 5 introduces advances in techniques for measuring SLCFs, as well as discussing the current capabilities for measuring SLCF concentrations across the Arctic.
