FOSSR Deliverable 8.3 First report on initiatives related to capacity building and training

This deliverable presents the progress and results of the activities implemented under Tasks 8.1, 8.2, and 8.3 of Work Package 8 (WP8) “Capacity Building and Training” within the first 18 months of the FOSSR project. It also reports the achievement of Milestones 8 and 10. WP8 aims to design and deliver a comprehensive training offer to strengthen the capacity of diverse stakeholders—researchers, students, practitioners, policymakers, and infrastructure officers—in effectively using research infrastructures, services, and tools. The document outlines the training initiatives, assesses their implementation and impact, and highlights synergies with WP9 dissemination and outreach activities. It concludes with an overview of achieved milestones and KPIs, offering a comprehensive picture of WP8’s contribution to building capacity and fostering transformative research practices. The dissemination of the deliverable is public; however, the attached documents remain confidential.
