The present dataset comprises observations spanning from 2012 to 2022, focusing on parameters collected from the E1 meteo-oceanographic buoy in the Northern Adriatic Sea (north of Rimini city on a bottom depth of 10.5 m), Italy. Specifically, it encompasses measurements taken in the water column at a defined depth (URI: https://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P01/current/ADEPZZ01/) of Sea temperature with SBE37 (URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/OD1/current/SEATEMP/) in degC (Degrees Celsius; URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P06/current/UPAA/), Dissolved Oxygen concentrations with SBE63 (URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P35/current/EPC00002/) in mg/l (Milligrams per litre, URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P06/current/UMGL/), and Chlorophyll-a concentration (URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/R03/current/CHLA/, estimates from in situ chlorophyll fluorometer) in mg/m^3 (Milligrams per cubic meter; URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/P06/current/UMMC/) by WETLabs ECO Triplet (URI: http://vocab.nerc.ac.uk/collection/L22/current/TOOL0674/2/, three-optical-sensor instrument). The buoy is located at 44,14° N; 12,57° E (WGS-84 coordinate system) and is managed by the Institute of Marine Science of the National Research Council (ISMAR-CNR) in Bologna. The dataset relies on a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file and it is composed by 91164 records, offering an invaluable insight into the dynamic characteristics of the marine environment in this area over nearly a decade. The E1 buoy is part of the site “Delta del Po and Costa Romagnola”, which belongs to the Long Term Ecological Research national and international networks (LTER-Italy, LTER-Europe and ILTER) and eLTER-RI.
