Deliverable 5.3 presents the software tools developed within Work Package 5 of the E2COMATION project for the optimal operation of industrial production plants with energyoriented goals. These energy-aware optimization tools are denoted as energy-aware planning and scheduling tools (EAPS) in the discrete domain and energy-aware process control (EAPC) in the continuous one. In addition, the Machine Tool Energy Configuration (MTEC), in the continuous use case, provides the plant manager with a decision support system by solving a multi-objective optimization (MOP) and determining the Pareto front, based on which the operator can select and set the reference targets for the lower EAPC layer. A description of each tool and the interaction mechanism with the E2COMATION platform and the other tools are reported here. This deliverable is intended to show the software components and to present how to operate with them.
