Online Learning Platforms (OLPs), often referred to as e-learning platforms, have fundamentally reshaped the approach to knowledge acquisition and accessibility. These platforms create a digital ecosystem where learners and instructors can seamlessly engage, exchange educational content, and participate in diverse learning activities. Within the realm of social data analysis, a domain heavily reliant on sophisticated software tools like Stata, OLPs present a promising avenue for comprehensive education delivery. In this document, we present the design of a software for implementing OLP for delivering knowledge in the field of social data analysis. This design is carried out in terms of a rigorous requirement identification process and the subsequent specification of a high-level architecture. The elicitation of those requirements addresses the intermediate objective titled “Definition of requirements for online data analysis software for training” due at month 12 of the project.
