How should scientific communication be structured within a research institute? What strategies should be adopted? Which social media platforms are most effective? What kind of language should be used? At the heart of these questions lies a central research issue: how is scientific communication evolving in an era of profound transformation, and how is the role of the communicator changing? Digitalization, the rise of social media, and the growing emphasis on public engagement are reshaping the relationship between science and society. Communication now plays a strategic role in enhancing the visibility, impact, and accountability of research. This report also explores the emergence of a new communicator profile – one that blends journalistic, digital, and institutional skills – to address the complexity of today’s scientific landscape. These reflections guided the development of this technical report, which aims to provide an overview of the communication activities undertaken so far, the ongoing transformations, and future perspectives for more effective dissemination.
