The continuous evolution of data center architectures towards scalable, distributed, and resilient models requires the adoption of advanced networking solutions based on overlay technologies. This technical report presents the design and deployment of an IP Fabric using EVPN/VXLAN with Arista DCS-7050SX3-48YC8 LEAF switches and Arista DCS- 7050CX3-32S SPINE switches, deployed within the ITINERIS ICT integration project. The goal of the deployment is to build a high-performance, fault-tolerant, and future-proof fabric that enables both Layer 2 and Layer 3 connectivity across geographically distributed infrastructures. The report details the hardware components, physical and logical topology, provisioning methodology, configuration templates, and the operational benefits of adopting EVPN/VXLAN in modern data centers.
