In the context of the ITINERIS Project (Italian Integrated Environmental Research Infrastructures System), Task 8.9 is focused on the development of a Virtual Research Environment. This VRE is dedicated to stable, unconventional stable, and radiogenic isotopes. Its main objective is to create a national database on environmental isotopes, a study field that has been previously underrepresented in Italy. The database will be constructed by providing a suite of tools, the so called Isotope Studio, that enable users to conduct different modelling activities focused on natural processes. The primary goal is to enhance understanding of the key geo-environmental processes occurring across the Earth System. As an application example, this report demonstrates how the database can be utilized to generate the most used graphs in Geosciences. Specifically, we focus on some of the most common used types: i) binary plots; ii) ternary plots; iii) normalised (spider) plots; iv) binary and ternary mixing diagrams.
