Metamorphosis: an unusual art compound tale is a new science communication docuseries, created to bring the public closer to scientific research in an innovative, engaging and accessible way. Conceived by Dr. Claudio Costantino during his doctoral research (at the University of Perugia and in collaboration with CNR-SCITEC, CNR-ISPC and ESRF), the rationale behind this outreach project stems from the research question "whether and how research on mixed calcium and lead phosphates in art could be effectively communicated to a non-specialized audience". The docu-series was selected to represent the Institution in the VQR 2020-2024 (Valutazione della Qualità della Ricerca - Research Quality Assessment) for knowledge valorization and was assigned number 85.

Ideata dal dott. Claudio Costantino durante il suo dottorato di ricerca (presso l’Università degli Studi di Perugia ed in collaborazione con CNR-SCITEC, CNR-ISPC ed ESRF), la ratio del progetto divulgativo ha inizio dalla domanda di ricerca "se e come la ricerca sui fosfati misti di calcio e piombo nell’arte potesse essere comunicata efficacemente ad un pubblico non specializzato"
