In the four-monthly 3 (BM5-6), the activity carried out by the Operational Units followed the timeframe of the Project. In particular, CNR continued the activities for Milestone 3 “Production of green Hydrogen through electrolysis (T3.1 Selection of the hydrogen production systems technology (through electrolysis) for the application case) and Milestone 5 “Direct reduction experiments on selected pellets and conditions belonging to the multi-objective analyses” (T5.2 -Micro-scale kinetics studies carried out with laboratory sample of iron oxides via Temperature Programmed Reduction measurements combined with X-ray diffraction analysis). Then, the operational unit Università del Salento ended the activities for Milestone 2 “Development of the database” (T2.1 “Database construction”). Moreover, in BM 6 the operational unit Università del Salento started the activities for Milestone 4 “Evaluation of the pellets properties and processing conditions for the optimization of the reduction process” (T4.1 “Design space and optimization”).

Abstract
