In this deliverable, a description of the scale-up procedure for radical scavenger and recast membranes is reported. The radical scavenger procedure is based on a scalable method of the sulphite complex route allowing to increase tenfold the amount of scavenger produced in the D3.1. Similarly, a scale-up procedure for both bare and composite membranes development was carried out. This procedure based on Doctor-blade casting technique, allows to obtain membranes reaching dimensions of 12X30cm suitable for application in short stack. The preparative procedure was properly modified starting from those reported in the D3.1.

Abstract
In this deliverable, a description of the scale-up procedure for radical scavenger and recast membranes is reported. The radical scavenger procedure is based on a scalable method of the sulphite complex route allowing to increase tenfold the amount of scavenger produced in the D3.1. Similarly, a scale-up procedure for both bare and composite membranes development was carried out. This procedure based on Doctor-blade casting technique, allows to obtain membranes reaching dimensions of 12X30cm suitable for application in short stack. The preparative procedure was properly modified starting from those reported in the D3.1.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
