This technical report presents ProTeSyMa (Prototype Testing System Machine), a reconfigurable, integrated platform developed at CNR-STIIMA that works in conjunction with the Stiimation communications system for creating industrial prototypes, educational prototypes, and real-world manufacturing monitoring. Ten validated manufacturing application profiles are presented, each implemented as dedicated firmware on identical hardware. These profiles can serve a wide range of industrial applications by scaling actuator capabilities, simply by selecting the corresponding firmware from each of the ten proposed applications. ProTeSyMa operates as the IoT test and validation node of the broader STIIMATION FULL system, which provides a low-cost, open-source, multi-protocol communication platform (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, GPRS/4G, 900 MHz radio) designed for the secure transmission of encrypted data across industrial and agricultural applications.

Abstract
This technical report presents ProTeSyMa (Prototype Testing System Machine), a reconfigurable, integrated platform developed at CNR-STIIMA that works in conjunction with the Stiimation communications system for creating industrial prototypes, educational prototypes, and real-world manufacturing monitoring. Ten validated manufacturing application profiles are presented, each implemented as dedicated firmware on identical hardware. These profiles can serve a wide range of industrial applications by scaling actuator capabilities, simply by selecting the corresponding firmware from each of the ten proposed applications. ProTeSyMa operates as the IoT test and validation node of the broader STIIMATION FULL system, which provides a low-cost, open-source, multi-protocol communication platform (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa, GPRS/4G, 900 MHz radio) designed for the secure transmission of encrypted data across industrial and agricultural applications.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
