The report outlines the composition of these bodies, bringing together representatives of major Mediterranean initiatives, European institutions, scientific organisations, regional authorities, industry associations and civil society stakeholders. It highlights the first activities carried out, including the establishment of collaborative working spaces, the engagement of board members, and their participation in the first BlueMissionMed Common Ground Camp in Palermo. Overall, the document demonstrates how the project is building an inclusive and multi-level governance structure capable of fostering cooperation, aligning strategic agendas and supporting the deployment of innovative solutions to reduce pollution and accelerate the restoration of Mediterranean marine and freshwater ecosystems.
