The activities reported in this working paper were carried out by INSEAN for the collaborative research programme THALES JP 10.111, entitled "Advanced Monohull Concepts". One of the aims of this programme was to obtain knowledge on hydromechanic characteristics by numerical and model test studies on systematic variations of advanced monohull concepts. The objective of the work reported here was to make an assessment of the influence of displacement variation on the performances of the MO2015 parent hull form. The characteristics investigated in this preliminary phase of the study are calm water resistance and seakeeping behaviour. From this side, the response amplitude operators were computed for two speeds at different headings and compared among the five displacements considered.
