The paper presents the the relief and post processing techniques experimented and adopted in the context of the Virtual Museum of Ancient Via Flamina, to document landscapes, archaeological artifacts and architectural structures: laser scanner, photogrammetry, total laser station, GPS have been integrated, in order to produce reliable 3D models with metric accuracy to be visualized in real time virtual environments developed with game engines like Virtools DEV.
