The ISCIMA - CNR research lines are heirs of great Italian traditions of studies on Mediterranean archaeology and they are naturally directed towards ancient intercultural exchanges, therefore they constitute a basis for upgrading cultural heritage to stimulate intercultural integration. The Italian museums often possess findings of ancient North-African and Near-Eastern civilization, therefore they offer a good means of communication among migrants and their original cultures. Attention is focused on Egypt as migrants' destination and on the Phoenicians and Greeks as migrants in Ancient times. In particular, it is an opportunity to attract and encourage school children and students' interest through special didactic activity and museum finalized projects. The aim of the project is to foster tolerance through an interdisciplinary approach in heritage education , in particular addressed to the young, who are aware of their own identity but also of their cultural diversity. The project plans for didactic materials, documentation and multi-media for an intercultural museum.

Abstract
The project plans for didactic materials, documentation and multi-media for an intercultural museum.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
