Some copper (II) cyanato complexes have been synthesised and characterised by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Modified Auger parameters (alpha') have been evaluated and correlated with crystallographic and/or IR information on the coordination mode of cyanate to copper (II). The following trend has been found for alpha' values: high values (higher than 1850 eV) for bridging coordination mode and low values (lower than 1844 eV) for non-bridging structures.

Abstract
Some copper (II) cyanato complexes have been synthesised and characterised by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Modified Auger parameters (alpha') have been evaluated and correlated with crystallographic and/or IR information on the coordination mode of cyanate to copper (II). The following trend has been found for alpha' values: high values (higher than 1850 eV) for bridging coordination mode and low values (lower than 1844 eV) for non-bridging structures.File in questo prodotto:
